This week has been a powerful reminder of something I deeply believe: growth happens through connection. In the past few days, I shared a conversation with a brand-new connection who now feels like a friend, reconnected with a colleague I hadn’t seen since before COVID, deepened a friendship with someone I once worked alongside, partnered with a CEO who is now a client, and spent time with my closest friend.
Each of these relationships is different — and yet all of them shape who I am as a leader and who I am becoming. They remind me that growth isn’t a solo pursuit. It’s cultivated through curiosity, shared experience, vulnerability, and the willingness to learn from others.
